Masanori Kamide (Tokyo,Japan)
Masanori Kamide is a Japanese photographer born in 1962 in Osaka. He started his career as a DJ and musician in the 1980s, and turned to photography in 2011 after the Great East Japan Earthquake.
His photographs are known for their portrayal of people and the cityscape of Tokyo at night.
Exhibited in solo and group exhibitions, and he has received numerous awards, including the 2017 Encouragement Prize at the 23rd Sakata city Ken Domon Cultural Award.
Major works include "Blues of Monochrome" (2016) and "888 Zenya" (2021).
His photographs are highly acclaimed as powerful works that capture the hustle and bustle of Tokyo at night and the beauty of neon streets from a new perspective.

代表作に『モノクロームのブルース』(2016)、『888前夜』(2021)など。
